Her name was Ponyboy

Sit down, dear readers, and prepare for some tragic news.

We lost a member of the Billie Zine family last night. On the evening of Monday, May 11, 2009, Ace's bicycle was stolen from the corner of Grim and University. The bicycle—her name was Ponyboy—was mostly yellow, often shiny and entirely brave. Was she locked? Of course she was fucking locked. She was locked up good and strong, which leads us to believe that there is a gang of bicycle thieves among us who have access to futuristic lock-cutting technologies the likes of which San Diego has never seen. They probably have hoverboards, too, so be careful. If Ponyboy can be stolen, no bike is safe.

Sadly, we do not have a picture of our beloved yellow friend, but an artist rendering can be found below. You will remain in our hearts and prayers forever, Pone Pone. We miss you.
