As many of you know, Billie Zine aggressively endorsed speller Kennyi Aouad (pictured above) in this year's National Spelling Bee. We're huge fans. Granted, we've never met Kennyi in real life, and we've never actually "seen" or "heard" him spell anything, ever, but we like his facial expressions and the way he carries himself; The kid is cool. Which is why it's difficult for us to break the following news:
He didn't win.
Some bitch from Kansas named Kavya Shivashankar took home the crown, probably by correctly spelling "Gucci" or something. Bitch.
Stay cool, Kennyi. Maybe next year.
